US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds drew $608.3 million in net inflows on Thursday, extending a four-session positive streak and pushing August's monthly total to a 2026 high of $2.07 billion.

The inflows arrived alongside a broad crypto rally, with Bitcoin trading above $75,000, up 7.9% over 24 hours according to CoinGecko, and Ether gaining 4.6% to roughly $2,357.

Four Straight Sessions of Gains

The Bitcoin funds attracted $297.6 million on Monday, $189.3 million on Tuesday, and $517.2 million on Wednesday before Thursday's $608.3 million print, SoSoValue data shows. Weekly inflows climbed above $1.6 billion.

August's cumulative net inflow of $2.07 billion, recorded through Thursday, has already surpassed April's $1.97 billion — the previous monthly high for the year — with seven trading sessions still remaining. Cumulative net inflows since the funds launched now stand at $53.4 billion.

Ether ETFs Join the Rally

Spot Ether ETFs posted their strongest day in nearly a year, taking in $220.8 million on Thursday. That marked the largest single-day intake across 203 trading sessions spanning 296 calendar days, with the last bigger day occurring on October 28, 2025, when the funds drew approximately $246 million.

Ether ETFs have collected roughly $512.2 million across four trading sessions this week, lifting August net inflows to about $754.9 million. Total net assets in the funds reached $13.58 billion.

Technicals Align With Flows

The inflow surge has coincided with a breakout in price action. Bitcoin climbed above its 200-day moving average for the first time since November, a level closely watched by trend followers, and crypto-equity proxies from miners to treasury companies rallied alongside the spot market.

The rally followed moves in US macro policy, including the Treasury's decision to at least double the maximum size of its long-term bond buybacks to $4 billion per operation — a liquidity injection that initially pushed yields lower and boosted risk appetite across asset classes.

With a week of trading left in the month and inflows accelerating, August is on track to set a definitive 2026 benchmark for institutional Bitcoin demand through US-listed ETF wrappers.
